The Center for Writing Therapy offers:
A two year certification program to become a Certified Writing Therapist (CWT). A Certified Writing Therapist can work with individuals in a counseling setting, provide group therapy or facilitate workshops.
The two year certification program cost $110.00 a month for classes.
The Center for Writing Therapy provides the Writers Wordshop every Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Read Aloud Theater Company, Thursday’s from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Individual counseling and group counseling by appointment only, workshops on memoir as therapy, poetry therapy, journal therapy and storytelling.
The Center for Writing Therapy classes are held at The Life Esteem Center, 1416 Cumberland Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
Founder and Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Nathaniel J. Gadsden, is a Family Coach for New Beginnings Inc., Parent Coordinator, graduate of two year Oasis Ministries Spiritual Directors Program,
Chaplain, Senior Pastor, Certified Therapist, graduate of two year Philadelphia Family Institute program, published Poet and author of “Learning Self Therapy Through Writing: an Experience in Creative Journaling.”
