Consider This...
A Vote For Kerry Is A Vote For Truth
We must vote John Kerry into the White House. If we don't vote for Kerry, Bush will serve four more years as our President.
If Bush serves four more years as our President, more American Citizens will lose their lives in a "fake" war. If Bush wins,
more American Citizens will lose their health care benefits, their jobs, and their basic freedoms. If Bush wins, we will have a
Supreme Court stacked with "Right-Wing" puppets, like Clarence Thomas, and this country as we know it will be changed for the worse.
This vote is critical to all Americans, especially African
Americans, who stand to lose the most. It is said that when America
gets a cold, African Americans get the flu. I believe this. The
evidence is just to plain to see. We can make it if Bush is elected to
another term in office, but should we have to endure his lies and
self-serving interest. Should we risk losing more ground in the areas
of civil rights and economic progress. I don't think this is an option.
The truth is Kerry must win, if we are to win.
The other basic truth is that if Kerry is to win in November we
must vote. African Americans must vote in numbers that we are not use
to. We must get the young and the old to the polls without exception.
We must car pool if necessary, use church buses and organizational buses if necessary, and walk long distances if necessary. We must do whatever it takes to be successful in November. Failure is not an option. Excuses are not optional either.
We have made excuses in the past, like our vote doesn't really
count. I don't like either candidate is another popular excuse. They
are going to steal the election is the latest excuse I keep hearing. No more excuses. We can do better. I know one thing for sure. Someone will win. Will it be the person we voted for or the person the other guy voted for? Only time and effort will tell
